Description

Rising to 1,836 meters in elevation, Vladeasa Peak is an ideal destination for an incredible day-hike from Cluj-Napoca!

Situated on a volcanic massif extending north from Apuseni Natural Park, the hike to the top of Vladeasa is long but not very challenging.

After meeting up first thing in the morning on the outskirts of Cluj-Napoca, we will drive to the trailhead and begin our hike, which is about a 15 kilometer round trip and includes an elevation gain of 500 meters.

As we head up the mountain, we will get the chance to hike through local forest and plains. As we gain in elevation our first unimpeded glimpses of the mighty Carpathian Mountains will be plenty of reward for our efforts and spur us on toward the summit.

From the top, expect even better views out over our surroundings and into the scenic Apuseni Natural Park.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this long, but fun and scenic day-hike from Cluj-Napoca up to the summit of stunning Vadeasa Peak!

If you like the look of this trip, but were looking for something just a little bit longer, then we think you may also enjoy our 4-day trekking adventure through the Bucegi Mountains!
