If you want to experience a real Colorado backcountry adventure this 5-day ski tour from Vail to Aspen, Colorado is what you're looking for.

This demanding ski trail is known as The Interconnect. It goes through the western region of the hut system. It connects two of the most exclusive ski resorts in the world: Vail and Aspen. These resorts battle with each other every year for the throne as the most luxurious and best rated ski towns in the United States. And this ski trail connects them on an amazing white landscape.

We'll begin skiing to the Estin hut, located south of Vail. After that we'll ski further south to the Gates hut, located in an incredible valley surrounded by mountains. The third night will find us at the Diamond J Ranch where we'll rest and a shower. After that, we'll go to Margy’s hut, where we'll be able to enjoy amazing views of the Elk Range. Finally, the trip will finish in Aspen where you can stay or take a transfer back to Vail.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome.
