Reach the summit of Mount Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa, on this 5-day ascent guided by Alejandro, an UIMLA certified mountain leader.
With 4,167 meters, the Mount Toubkal is the highest peak in Morocco and in North Africa. It is located in the Toubkal National Park and belongs to the Atlas mountain range.
This mountain is 60 kilometers from the City of Marrakech. It will be our starting point. I can pick you up at the airport and drive you to the hotel if you wish. At the beginning and the end of the trip, you will have some time to enjoy the typical mosques and palaces of the city.
During the ascent, we will visit the lovely village of Imlil (1,720 meters) and the Toubkal Refuge at 3,207 meters of height before you reach the summit.
Take into account that it is very important to have a medium level of fitness for this ascent. My last recommendation is to bring:
So come with me on this ascent to the Toubkal and enjoy the feeling of reaching the highest peak in the area. I will be happy to safely guide you on this adventure.

Since I was a kid I travelled around the hills and peaks of Sierra Nevada range in south Spain, going up and down the valleys that made me in love with the mountains world.
Steadily, I discovered other ranges of the Iberic peninsula such as the Pyrenees and Picos de Europa, and then I travelled to the peruvian Andes, the Amazonas jungle, the Moroccan Atlas...
Thanks to these experiences and two years of studying to become a professional mountain guide, I started a new project called Nevalia mountain guides.
I hope I can help you to make true your mountain dreams!

Our guide was changed on us last minute. Before the hike, I had missed the messages from the guide because the notifications went to a weird place in my email inbox. Because we messaged him late, he cancelled on us. I was worried we wouldn\'t be able to go on the hike at all. Luckily, we ended up going with a different guide, Victoria, who was lovely.

This trip was amazing and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in hiking. We went on 9 and 10 of December but we were lucky and the weather conditions was really good. The nature and the view were fascinating. Alejandro was an excellent guide! Very professional and a very nice guy. All these elements combining together made this trip an unforgettable experience!

That was a blast, I truly had a wonderful time! Everything went just perfectly, thanks a lot to my guide Alejandro for your professionalism, patience and flexibility. I am looking forward to my next trek in the Sierra Nevada (or elsewhere, who knows?) and will definitely think of Nevalia

Alejandro could not be more perfect for anyone looking to summit Mulhacén! He planned our winter ascent impeccably and although we were very lucky with the weather (blue skies and epic views - if a tad chilly!), our successful and joyful climb was very much down to him and his attitude . I would also add that as far as mountain refuges go, Mulhacén\'s is a goodie :)
