Join a certified mountain guide on this 6-day ski tour in the Silvretta Alps located at the border of Austria and Switzerland!
This 6-day ski tour in the Silvretta Alps is perfect for the intermediate ski tourer!
The Silvretta Alps are a mountain range of the Central Eastern Alps, located at the border between Austria and Switzerland. The majority of the peaks one can find here are 3,000 meters above the sea and they are surrounded by glaciers.
In this winter paradise we will be climbing the different peaks we find along the way. The Piz Champatsch located at 2777 meters above the sea or the Piz Filana at 3281 meters, just to name a few.
I will be happy to safely guide you around this area and allow you to discover these fantastic spots. This 6-day trip is the perfect introduction to ski touring in the Alps and depending on your skills and confidence, we will be able to climb as many peaks as you want.
Every evening, we will rest at the different small huts we will find along the way and it will be here that we will get to enjoy Austrian hospitality.
After a long day of ski, nothing better than some delicious fried potatoes with onions and sausage (“Greachtel”) together with a drink of a Williamin Shnaps. And don’t forget the famous Apfelstrudel with Vanilla sauce!
You will find a more detailed itinerary below!
Although this ski tour is not as demanding as other ski programs in the Alps, it is mandatory for all participants to be skilled skiers (PSIA level 8) and have an excellent fitness level.
I also offer several other ski touring programs. If you wish to do another ski tour in Switzerland, you can also join me on this 8-day Central Switzerland ski tour or if you are looking for a more demanding expedition, check out my 7-day Berner Oberland ski tour (advanced).
So if you are ready for this 6-day Silvretta ski tour, request to book this trip!
I highly recommend doing a level I avalanche class with AIARE (American institute for Avalanche Research and Education) to have some basic Avalanche knowledge, transceiver skills as well as touring experiences.
