Highlights

The Dolomites are fascinating mountains alternating formidable cliffs and welcoming forests. Join me on this 8-day off-piste ski trip with spectacular landscapes, virgin slopes and Italian charm.

The terrain here is extremely varied. There are smooth slopes and fierce couloirs, easy runs and hidden itineraries. Also vertiginous cablecars and lonely tracks in unspoilt snow.

The common factor of these endless terrain options? Off piste, there is no one. Therefore the place is ours to enjoy!

From the charming village of Arraba, each day we will combine magnificent itineraries. You will feel lost in the spectacular nature, off-piste runs from the lifts, and some of the nicest slopes to return to the hotel at the end of the afternoon. We will also have the chance to do some ski touring.

You will see the unique surroundings, where the cliffs are still scarred by the many battles of the XXth century.

The hotel in Arraba is modern and comfortable. It features an interior pool and a spa. Besides, we will enjoy the great Italian restaurant there. Since we will stay in a hotel, you won’t have to worry about carrying your belongings each day.

This program is designed for confident off-piste skiers with some ski-touring experience.

I really like to guide my friends and clients ski touring here because:
    – The landscapes are exceptionally impressive
    – We ski through the forests and spectacular couloirs
    – The hotel is very comfortable and offers a warm welcome

Do you feel like an off-piste ski week in the Dolomites is your thing? Then don’t hesitate to send me a request, I would love to guide you there! And if you are looking to explore a less known region, have a look at this ski touring trip in Greenland.

    - The passion of virgin areas -
Climbing, mountaineering, trekking, off-piste skiing, ski touring, heliskiing, I have used all the resources available in the mountain to explore the Alps in France, Italy, Switzerland, and also Nepal, Peru and Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Alaska, Canada, Kenya, Tanzania, Morocco and Turkey, Norway, Greenland and Spitsbergen…
Currently, with the enthusiasm of being a guide, I traverse the world’s mountains and I share my passion with those whom I call “clients” but after many years of common adventures have become my friends.

What People are Saying about Jean-Marc Kaufmann

Hello to all who like the intensity of amazing heights reached with sometimes a bit of sweat but so rewarding that the memories live in you year in or out. I travelled many times with Jean-Marc as guide. Heliskiing in Canada, Touring skiing (seals\' skin skiing) in Tromso, Spitzberg or more simply in ski resorts like France, Italy and Bulgaria. I recommend him for the complete trust in what he is sure I can do and his guiding ability on top of our sharing a good bear after the day\'s efforts (I am Belgian so ...). I even tried myself at 53 years\' old to a bit of climbing with \"Aiguille d\'Entrève\" and discovered a new ability. Great moments past and to come.
