Description

Join me in this 4-day advanced alpine climbing course in Lesachtal and improve your skills in the alpine terrain! If you already have alpine climbing experience, then this is the perfect course for you.

We will meet at the Wolayersee hut, in Sankt Lorenzen. It’s located in the beautiful valley of Lesachtal, in Austria.

Alpine climbing means primarily climbing a route which is only partially secured. So, we use mobile securing devices for protection, such as wedges, pitons and friends which the leader lays down and are taken by another climber.

Personally, I think that using several lengths of top rope and mobile back up devices is a central part of alpine climbing. The course content will be  the following:

• Climbing rules, partner check and correct backup
• Construction of the rope course
• Placing mobile backup devices
• Construction, leveling & anchoring series
• Multiple routes

Also, you can check the detailed itinerary below this description.

So if you find this alpine climbing course interesting, contact me! I will answer any questions you may have about this program in Lesachtal. We will spend 5 great days! You can also check my 4-day sport climbing course in Lesachtal.
