On this amazing 3 day advanced level course, I will teach you the high level techniques that are crucial for successful ski mountaineering. And because this course takes place in the Alps, anywhere from France and Italy to Switzerland, you will get to put what you learn into immediate practice.
There are a number of fantastic, and famous, ski spots to choose from on this adventure. Some examples of where we can go include the following.
Monte Rosa Massif
Mont Blanc Massif
Gran Paradiso
Piedmont
Some of the main things we will cover during this 3 day course include how to plan multi-day ski mountaineering trips and how to venture on more complex and steeper terrain. You will also learn how to properly navigate with maps, compasses and GPS. Moreover, a big priority on this course will be safety and self-rescue, along with avalanche awareness. This is because the more intense and challenging the trip, the more important safety becomes.
Participants should have previous ski mountaineering experience, proper ski descent technique and be in good physical condition.
It is my goal by the end of this course that you are able to enjoy some of the most exciting and challenging ski mountaineering trips available. So send me a request if you want to have a great time, while learning a tremendous amount of crucial techniques for advanced level ski mountaineering.
I also offer an introductory level 4 day version of this course as well.

Mountain Guide
Enrico and IFMGA Guides’ team
At the age of 15, I knew I wanted to become a mountain guide, I wanted to live in the mountains, teach and share my new passion with everyone. In 2006 I realized my dream and I became a professional certified mountain guide.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience with my clients, embarking on a journey that slowly transforms the guide-client relationship into a climbing partner and often a lasting friendship. I am not and never will be a lone climber but "a fellow explorer”. My specialty is certainly climbing on ice and mixed terrain at high altitude.
With my clients I have climbed the most difficult faces in the Alps, explored mountain ranges, and traveled across America, Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Now I share all this with a group of friends and highly qualified, professional guides who will be pleased to lead and teach you whenever I am not available.
If I trust them…you can trust them too!

Enrico is a great guy and a brilliant mountain guide. He is easy to get on with and focused on developing the skills I needed to develop, adapting the itinerary to my needs and was able to provide a very worthwhile few days even in less than ideal conditions.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
