Description

Join me on this half day off piste snowboarding course in the beautiful Baqueira Beret ski resort! This Spanish paradise is located on the high Bonaigua Pass in the Val d’Aran. It is famous for its amazing backcountry terrain and high quality snow. This course will contribute to increase your safety on backcountry snowboarding outings. You will broaden your knowledge and sharpen your skills.

During this half day course, we will go deep into your snowboarding technique. I will pay close attention to every little detail to make it perfect. Moreover, I will also show you alpine rock climbing techniques to reach new places as well as how to handle really steep slopes, rocks and even cliffs. Additionally, you will learn some rope manoeuvres, use of ice axes and crampons and we will practice some avalanche rescue protocols.

Because this is an advanced course, it is important that you have previous snowboarding experience. Also, you will need a good fitness level. Please note that this course is in Spanish.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
