Join local AAGM guide Luciana for this full day trad climbing program that takes place in a fantastic spot near Bariloche: Cerro Lopez.
Join me on this fantastic full day experience in great a trad climbing point of South America: Bariloche. Located in north Patagonia, this amazing Andean spot has something for everyone: from introductory sport climbing itineraries to advanced multi-pitch routes.
This time I am offering a traditional climbing adventure that takes place in Cerro Lopez, a mountain located at the foot of the village of Colonia Suiza, surrounded by the Moreno and Nahuel Huapi lakes. A perfect environment for an incredible activity.
As you may know, trad climbing is the basic style of climb through which you can access to varied walls surfaces as you ascend. In this type of activity there is no fixed anchors and you can climb rocks in solitary places.
I will adapt the activity of the day to your skills. After meeting early in the morning, a transfer will take us to the base of the rocky walls. Once in the place we must hike for about 40 minutes until we get to the chosen head-trail.
The full expedition takes 8 hours and after such an exciting trad climbing day we will return to the town by the afternoon. Undoubtedly, it will be an unforgettable experience, especially if you are taking your first steps in the rock climbing world. In all cases, it’s important to do it under the serious supervision of a certified guide.
Send a request to book and come Bariloche to enjoy a different day outdoors, surrounded by one of the most stunning Andean landscapes.

Nico was an awesome guide! He was super fun to climb with. This was our first time climbing outside of a gym environment. My girlfriend and I both felt safe and had a wonderful time.
