Type of Trip
Leave for 3 days of trail initiation with specialists. We will be at the foot of Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail, in Provence. Indeed, an ideal playground for a first approach to mountain trail from Malaucène!
During the weekend, you will cover the essentials of trail running practice. How to manage your effort in the altitude change? Which technique should you adopt to improve your descent? When and where to best use the poles? How to plan a season and its trainings? And many other valuable tips to start on the right foot!
You will stay in a cozy cottage just minutes from the center of the historic village of Malaucène, at the foot of the Ventoux. You will be able to admire the mountain from the vast wooded park, and escape for a weekend. At the end of the afternoon, you can also enjoy a trip to the spa for a massage or to use the swimming pool and the jacuzzi! Moreover, you can bring your family at a special companion rate.
I invite you to contact me if you are interested and want to discuss the details of this beautiful 3-day initiation program. Please note that currently I am only accepting private groups for this tour, with a minimum of 5 participants.
If this proposal does not fit your expectations, I will introduce you to other trail courses which I organize, in the Alps and elsewhere, for beginners and experienced. For example, I run a great trail running trip for beginners in the Beaufortain!

What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
