Description

This Cascada de Sorrosal 1-day via ferrata will allow participants to access otherwise unreachable areas with breathtaking views!

Our adventure will take place in the Spanish municipality of Broto next to the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. This undisputed highlight of the Pyrenees was established in 1918 and became the first protected area of the country.

The Cascada de Sorrosal 1-day via ferrata will be relatively easy to tackle and excellent for families and groups of friends who are first time climbers. During this short and pleasant route, we’ll explore caves, hanging bridges and this area’s unique flora and fauna. However,  what really makes this tour special is that we’ll discover and admire the impressive Sorrosal Waterfall.  Set between the Broto Valley and Sorrosal Valley, this stunning spot was the result of a glacier and the Ara river. As we explore this hidden treasure, we’ll learn about the area’s geomorphological and geological history.

Does this via ferrata sound tempting? Then send your request and get ready for an experience you’ll never forget! I will make sure to accommodate to your wishes and needs.

Fantastic experience with Roberto! He showed us some tips and tricks related to trad climbing and abseiling in addition to safely guiding us up and down the beautiful Naranjo de Bulnes. Highly recommend this trip and Roberto as a guide!

I had a great time practicing my Trad climbing and technique on the Calcena limestone. There are so many Trad and Sport routes and the scenery and isolation is wonderful.
