Ardales is a stunning town in Malaga famous for its historic church and castle ruins. Nearby is the renowned Caminito del Rey, a walkway along a narrow gorge near “El Chorro”, a small village that is popular amongst rock climbers. In this region, we will find the stunning Via Ferrata “El Chorro”, where our adventure will take place.

This breathtaking spot is well equipped and features a Tibetan bridge, a zipline over 30m long, and an optional rappel. It is a moderately difficult via ferrata, but well worth the effort. Furthermore, for every four people there will be a guide, following the recommendation of the Andalusian Association of Mountain Guides. Please keep in mind that in order to join, participants must be at least 16 years old.

The experience was great. We had Antonio as our guide and he was the best! He was very professional and fun at the same time. He was so chilled yet you know you’re safe all throughout. He was even helping the others that were in a different group without neglecting us at all.
