1/2 Day

Jan - Apr, Dec

Join me for a snowshoeing experience in the famous winter center of Europe. Enjoy a half-day private tour in Chamonix!

Chamonix is the perfect place to go snowshoeing. It has winter terrain for all different skills and experiences. If you love walking outside in the winter, then this private tour is ideal for you! You don't need to have experience in snowshoeing to go on this trip. However, you do have to be relatively physically fit because you will be hiking up a few uphill trails.

If you contact me, I can give you several different snowshoeing options in Chamonix. You can also decide the level of intensity and difficulty of the walk. Each trip is custom designed for each client.

The half-day tours take place in the morning (09:00 – 12:30), in the afternoon (13:00 – 16:30) or at dusk (17:30 – 21:30).

Below you will find a sample itinerary of this private program. But remember that I'll adapt your plan to suit you!

Sample of a Half-day snowshoe walk

Many trips include a loop above the village of Le Buet and into the Bérard valley as well as Le Chalet du Chenavier. Then, we have the option of snowshoe hiking over Montroc and reaching the summit of the Prarion, in Les Houches. If that doesn't interest you, we can do a low-level snowshoe walk among the hamlets and amazing forests of the valley.

Together we can reach Chamonix's best spots by snowshoe. But depending on snow conditions it may be necessary to use the ski lifts.
