Description
Chamonix-Mont Blanc is a top spot for ski touring, a great way to explore the mountains in winter. On this flexible program, you will have the chance to discover far-off spots that would be difficult to access without the help of a local expert.
The itinerary will be designed taking into account the experience and motivation of the participant. Therefore, you are welcome to join me on this exciting ski touring adventure whether you are a first-timer or an experienced mountaineer. There are plenty of amazing options for everyone.
The ski touring program will take place in the Chamonix valley. Taking into consideration that the conditions of the mountain are changeable, we will choose the best ski spots depending on snow conditions to guarantee your safety and a top ski experience. Additionally, in order to access higher altitudes, we will privilege the use of lifts, and then we will start our adventure.
Keep in mind that this is a flexible tour, so you can also decide on the duration. A tentative program for a 3-day adventure could look as follows:
First day: Introduction to ski mountaineering basics, equipment, and ski practice.
Second day: Ski touring in Chamonix valley + improvement tips.
Third day: Ski touring in the Chamonix valley.
Or, I can also design a shorter or longer tour for you if you wish. Each ski day we will spend around 5 to 6 hours skiing, so take that into account to evaluate the level of fitness you will require.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
