Type of Trip
Come with me on an incredible Via Ferrata adventure in Chamonix or the Sallanches Valley, where you can feel as if you are walking on air.
There is nothing quite like Via Ferrata because it looks and feels like a leap of faith. Actually, instead of a leap, it’s more like several steps. A journey even. And that is where the joy comes in. Because the views you will get while walking beside the valley’s rock faced walls will stay with you forever. As well, the thrill and excitement you will experience will also accompany those memories like a spectacular soundtrack.
Via Ferrata high in the canyons can at first appear scary. However, I can assure you that it is as safe as it is enjoyable. You will be properly supervised and securely harnessed at all times. Hence why you do not have to be a mountaineering expert to participate in this trip. Instead, all you need to bring is energy, enthusiasm, and perhaps some water, too.
There is so much to see while walking on the Via Ferrata. From the canyon itself, which will look like a stern, yet approving face. To the beauty of the Alps beyond. Where you will be able to see the snow capped summit of the famous Mont Blanc (4,808m). As well as the majestic Aiguille du Midi (3,842m) mountain.
I can only say so much about how amazing Via Ferrata in Chamonix or the Sallanches Valley is. It is one of those things that has to be experienced to be truly appreciated. And I know once you experience it, you will not just appreciate it, you will love it.
I look forward to hearing from you.
And if you want to enjoy a Via Corda adventure with me near Les Mottets in the Chamonix commune, I can guide you on this trip as well.

What happens if the guide cancels the trip because of bad weather/unsuitable conditions?
If bad weather or unsuitable conditions force the guide to cancel the trip, he or she will: a) propose a similar activity at a different place where conditions are better, or b) propose to postpone the activity until a later date, or c) cancel. If you refuse option a), our cancellation policy will apply. Please note, however, that the call to cancel a trip due to bad weather can only be made by the guide (not the client).
What happens if the guide doesn’t show up or cancels for personal reasons?
If the guide cancels for reason of injury or other, you will get a 100% refund on your trip.
Harness, helmet and gloves will be provided. However, you should bring water and a backpack for jackets and clothing.
