Climb Pico Almanzor from Refugio Laguna Grande in Gredos (Half-day)

Pico de Almanzor is a magnificent mountain that rises at 2,591 meters, towering over Sierra de Gredos. If you wish to reach its summit, don’t hesitate and join me on this half-day program.

In about 5 to 7 hours you will be standing at the top of Pico Almanzor. We’ll depart from Refugio Laguna Grande (1,950 m) at the Circo de Gredos. Thereon our fantastic mountaineering adventure will begin. As we hike to the summit, we’ll pass by many enchanting paths, discovering the local flora and fauna. Moreover, we will enjoy the most breathtaking views of the Sierra de Gredos.

Sierra de Gredos is a mountain range that forms part of the Central System range. It extends through the provinces of Madrid, Toledo, Salamanca, Caceres and Ávila. And its highest point is Pico Almanzor. Therefore it is undoubtedly one of the best places to enjoy the dazzling views of this majestic mountain range.

Pico de Almanzor is not a difficult ascent. Reaching the top of this granite colossus makes up for a beautiful hike. Nonetheless, participants need to have a good fitness level. But worry not, as this is a private trip. This means I will be with you the whole time, making sure you and your group are safe and having a great time. It also means you won’t have to share this wonderful experience with unknown participants.
