Climb the Zsigmondyspitze: The “Matterhorn of the Zillertal”, near Mayrhofen (2 days)

Located in the Zillertal Valley, in the Alps of Austria, the Zsigmondyspitze peak (3,089m) is a beautiful mountain. Also known as the Matterhorn of the Zillertal, the peak is both famous and popular for many climbers. And on this 2-day trip, you will get to scale the great mountain, which is also located near Mayrhofen.

The climb to the top of the Zsigmondyspitze is not overtly difficult. However, there are some tough spots. But, you don’t have to worry as our guides will see to it you are properly, safely and securely guided throughout the ascent and descent.

We will be taking the normal route to the summit of the peak. Throughout the ascent, you can relish some truly tremendous views of the Alps as well as the landscape around Zillertal and Mayrhofen.

In order to participate on this trip, you should have prior mountaineering experience. You should also be in good physical condition.
