Courmayeur (1,224m) is a beautiful mountain village in the North of Italy. It is located in the gorgeous Aosta Valley and rests at the southern base of the famous Mont Blanc mountain (4,810m).
During the winter season, Courmayeur is a fantastic place to visit just for the scenery and landscape alone. However, the real highlight of this place is the skiing. Whether you want to enjoy a ski tour, some freeride, or off-piste skiing, Courmayeur has got you covered. And at the end of the day, you can also enjoy some fine Italian cuisine and wine.
On this day trip, one of our certified guides will lead you on a freeride skiing adventure.
As a result of the various resorts in the area, from Chamonix and La Thuile to La Rosiere, there will be no shortage of great skiing runs. We will also take your skiing level into consideration before planning the skiing route. However, it is important to note that participants need to have off-piste skiing experience and be physically fit because we could be skiing up to 5000 vertical meters.
Courmayeur is a beautiful place for freeride skiing. And we know that if you let any of us guide you for a full day of it, you will remember it for the rest of your life. Don’t hesitate to contact us now and start planning an amazing adventure!

Mountain Guide
Roberto “Rouge” Rossi, born on 24/02/1976 in Turin, forms the Mountain Passion guide team with Filippo, Federica and Riccardo. If I’m unavailable to guide you, one of them will take care of you.
I graduated in Biology, and I'm a Mountain Guide since 2003, and Guide Instructor since 2007.
I'm enthusiastic for all that is mountains and verticality, practice 360-degree mountaineering, with a large number of climbs along the entire Western Alpine arc where I've made all kinds of climbs and on all terrains, with a predilection for Mont Blanc. However, I did not neglect the extra-European mountains by making extra-European and European trips and expeditions including Bolivia, Ecuador, Peru, Patagonia, Himalaya, Pakistan, Morocco, Kenya, Norway, Spain, Japan, Canada, USA.
I now divide my days between Cervinia and Chamonix, and I'm a great lover of high mountain climbing and steep skiing, among which the descents of the North of Lyskamm, of the East and of the South of Monte Rosa, of the North of Aiguille du Midi along different itineraries and east of the Matterhorn. I'm also a trainer for work at height with access and positioning systems using ropes and for third category fall protection PPE.
I collaborate with specialized magazines in the sector (ALP, Planetmountain) and am a consultant for Montura, Scarpa, ATK, Kæstle, Edelweiss, ARVA, BLUE ICE.

Perfect guidance. We were having trouble with getting a taxi to the lift station, one of them already had passengers and tried to pick us up when there was no space for everyone which was frustrating. Roberto kindly picked us up and managed to get everything going on time. On the route itself he made sure that everything was safe before we set off on the difficult parts of the climb. Overall great knowledge of the route, and made the experience very fun. Just ensure you're properly fit for this climb and are comfortable with climbing on very exposed and narrow passages, as some moves are not only nerve-wracking but physically demanding due to altitude. I would reccomend prior acclimatisation before this climb.

Fantastic experience with the Rossi team ! The guide was attentive from the start and adapted the route to our level, which made all the difference. We were able to enjoy the climb without ever feeling out of our depth. Safety was impeccable throughout, a true professional. Beyond his technical skills, he’s a genuinely friendly and passionate person. He took the time to explain the surrounding mountain ranges, which added a real educational dimension to the outing. We came back with wonderful memories and already itching to do it again!
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
