Join one of our IFMGA certified mountain guides for an amazing day of off-piste skiing in Courmayeur in the beautiful Alps of Northern Italy.
Courmayeur (1,224m) is a beautiful mountain village in the North of Italy. It is located in the gorgeous Aosta Valley and rests at the southern base of the famous Mont Blanc mountain (4,810m).
During the winter season, Courmayeur is a fantastic place to visit just for the scenery and landscape alone. However, the real highlight of this place is the skiing. Whether you want to enjoy a ski tour, some freeride, or off-piste skiing, Courmayeur has got you covered.
On this day trip, one of our 12 certified guides will lead on an off-piste skiing adventure.
As a result of the various resorts in the area, from Chamonix and La Thuile to La Rosiere, there will be no shortage of great skiing runs. Also, don’t be surprised when are able to see a 2000 metre vertical drop on one of these runs!
The day will begin at 8:30 am at our office. Once there we will make introductions and go over the plan for the day. We will discuss possible locations based on the weather conditions and what you hope to see. We will also take your skiing level into consideration before doing an equipment check, and heading out.
It is important to note that participants need to have off-piste skiing experience, and be physically fit because we could be skiing up to 5000 vertical meters.
Courmayeur is a beautiful place for off-piste skiing. And we know that if you let any of us guide you for a full day of it, you will remember it for the rest of your life. And at the end of the day, you can also enjoy some fine Italian cuisine and wine.

Guide Monte Rosa was founded after a strong snowfall in winter 1996. The Monte Rosa, while it is probably one of the most charming places in the Alps, is our base. The area offers unforgettable experience - the spectacular and in the same time fascinating landscape of the Monte Rosa is part of our freeride and heliski program.
