Definitely one of the most thrilling and scenic hikes you can enjoy in California, the full day trek to the summit of Mount Baldy (10,064 feet) is an adventure you will never forget.

Also known as Mount San Antonio, Mount Baldy is the highest peak in Los Angeles County. As a result, it is an extremely popular trekking route for people either living or visiting the city of Los Angeles. And after just seeing the mountain, whether at a distance, or up close, it is not difficult to see why. It is truly spectacular. And, when you reach the peak’s summit, the views you will get are equally incredible. So, don’t forget to bring your camera!

Definitely a strenuous trek, the hike to the summit of Mount Baldy will take between 6 and 8 hours depending on your pace. The total distance covered is approximately 11 miles. Meanwhile, the elevation gain is approximately 3,900 feet. As a result, it is important that participants on this trip are in good physical condition. And, while prior trekking experience is not required, it is certainly advantageous.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide.
