The Denali National Park is a fascinating area within Alaska’s seemingly never ending wilderness. The park is enormous, composed of over 6 million acres. Yet it still feels completely isolated. Hence giving you an experience unlike any other because within its invisible boundaries you will feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. And in a way, that can be a truly amazing thing.
Over 4 exciting days, you will get to hike through the wild and make your way to the base of the largest peak in North America, Mount Denali (6,190m). Formally known as Mount McKinley, this incredible peak stands tall, and stands alone. And on this amazing hike, you will get the kinds of views of it that most people can only dream about. You will also get to admire the Denali National park’s many lakes, rivers and glaciers, including the massive Ruth Glacier.
Another amazing, and surreal aspect to this trip is because it takes place during the summer there will rarely be darkness. As a result, at the end of each day’s hike, you will get to return to camp and enjoy a delicious meal by the fire, while gazing at the midnight sun!
Throughout the trip, we will be hiking for approximately 10 kilometres per day at a comfortable pace. However, it is important that participants are in good enough physical condition to maintain that pace.
To venture into one of the most beautiful national parks in the world, and to see the highest mountain on the continent is an unforgettable experience. And it would be our pleasure, over the course of 4 days, to guide you through that experience. All you have to do to be a part of it is send us a request.
