Description

Try something different on your next family vacation and give snowshoeing in beautiful Stowe, Vermont a shot!

Nestled into the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains, Stowe is an exceptionally beautiful place to strap on some snowshoes and head out into the woods.

Our certified guides know the terrain well, so we’ll be sure to pick a scenic and quite easy route to try out. Due to the low intensity of the activity, it is perfect for families with children of all ages.

We’ll only spend an hour and a half out in the snowshoes, but depending on what you would like to do, we could go along the Lake Mansfield Trail up to Nebraska Notch or along the Haselton Trail to the Nose.

Both trails offer beautiful views and with no leaves on the trees during the winter, you’ll be able to get some pretty spectacular views of the wooded and rolling hills that make up the Vermont countryside.

The Lake Mansfield Trail also takes us by some waterfalls on the way up to the Nebraska Notch, which make for lovely photographs in the winter.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for a fun and easy snowshoeing adventure in beautiful Stowe, Vermont!

Will was great wise and fun to spend the day with.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
