Enjoy the fun of canyoning along your family with some of our exciting tours in Cantal, in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region! Our discovery canyoning routes are accessible to children from 8 years old. Bear in mind you all need to know how to swim!
I will take you on a great half-day adventure, rappelling, jumping and sliding in some refreshing gorges and streams. You will enjoy a wonderful approach to the world of canyoning.
These are some of the possible canyoning tours in the area:
Haute Alagnon. A very fun itinerary for the little ones, with lots of slides!
Haute Argence. A version of the route especially adapted to kids,with fun jumps, siphons, rappelling and swimming. An easy route of about 2 hours.
Cornillou. A very aquatic itinerary in some sections, this descent allows you to enjoy the activity whatever your expectations are, with slides, jumps at all heights, zip lines, rappel … everything is here!
Alagnon Intégral. An exciting canyoning tour, whre you will slide, jump, abseil and passing under blocks. The Lioran gorges will have no more secrets for you!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
