Val di Sole is a beautiful valley in Trentino, a province of northern Italy. It is located in the middle of the highest peaks of the Central Alps. During the winter, it turns into white being one of the valleys with the greatest amount of snow.

This one day trip in Val di Sole will allow you to explore unspoiled areas and enjoy the most amazing off-piste skiing descents. You will be able to choose a route according to your level and preferences. During this day outdoors you will also learn about avalanche risk and many other technical secrets.

If you want to be part of this adventure, you should have prior experience in off-piste skiing. In addition, I strongly recommend you to have a good physical condition to skin up steep slopes in search of the best descents.

Finally, do not forget to bring your personal ski equipment and your winter clothes. The possibility to rent the equipment is available if you need it.

Denis

Mountain Guide

I'm Denis, I was born in 1979, in Trentino and raised in Mezzana in Val di Sole where I still live. I practice the activities related to the mountain transmitting enthusiasm and passion to who spends time in my company. With my family I manage a hotel in Mezzana and since 1998. I am an Alpine Ski Instructor and Ski Club Trainer.

As a child I was only thinking about skiing, but then at the age of 16 I started to get closer to the world of mountaineering, with walks, climbing and short mountaineering ski tours. I started traveling to discover new places and face new adventures.

The passion for the mountains accompanies me in everyday life, and this is why I decided to devote myself full time and in a few years I became an Alpine Guide.

I like to discover and travel in the vertical world of the Rock, a form of poetry and technique to reach the most beautiful peaks and descend the canals winter snow. In 2016 I also started a Trailrunning workout with good results
some races, including the Stava Ski Race and the Brenta Dolomites Trail.
For 2017 I will have some specific trailrunning goals planned.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
