Description

The ascent of Gabler (3263m) is demanding and hard, but the reward is priceless. This peak is in the Zillertal Alps. In particular, it's part of the Reichenspitze group.

During the ascent we will traverse a quiet and beautiful landscape. Besides, we will appreciate the weirdly-shaped granite peaks.

I particularly like the crisp rock in the final section of the way up. And the warm welcome and delicious food at the Zittauer hut on the first night is definitely a plus!

For this trip you need to be in very good shape, as we ascend up to 400 meters per hour. It also includes some easy rock climbing.

Tempted to try this ascent? Then don't hesitate to send me a request and join me for a wonderful adventure. Ski touring is also great in this peak, check it out!

Mountain Guide

I am a IFMGA certified mountain guide and a climbing lover. I grew up in a small farm in Mittersiller Sonnberg. My parents used to show us the beauty of our mountains. When I was 10 years old I went ski touring for the first time and I really loved it. The next years, I started climbing walls which really fascinated me. I also participated in many competitions.

My career took me to Hohe Tauern National Park where I finished the ranger training to bring visitors to the beauties of my country.

In 2013, I got my official certificate as a mountain guide and ski instructor. A dream came true! Since 2014, I have been working a full time guide, guiding in different areas such as Ortler, Valais, Dolomites, Wilder Kaiser, Muztagh Ata (China)... and of course, in some of our famous mountains such as Großvenediger and Großglockner.

Feel free to get in touch with me! I'll be glad to share with you a great moment in the mountains!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
