Gran Paradiso 6-day ski touring trip

Gran Paradiso 6-day ski touring trip | undefined

Do you want to discover the beautiful Gran Paradiso massif while enjoying great ski touring from hut to hut? Sébastien, IFMGA guide, can take you there!

Alps

6 Days

Mar, Apr

Description

Join me in this ski touring traverse around the beautiful Gran Paradiso massif, in the Italian Alps.

During this trip, we will reach some summits as Punta Rossa (3630 m), Grand Serra (3552 m) and the mythical Gran Paradiso (4061 m). To get there, we will cross beautiful glaciers and passes, and then enjoy long off-piste descents. Besides, we will sleep in mythical refuges, as Chabod and Vicot Emmanuel II.

During this trip we will see how to:
– Progress ski touring in a glacial environment;
– Assess and manage the risks associated to this practice;
– Use the AVD, shovel and probe.

Departures 2017: April 17th and April 24th. If you want to go on different dates in March and April, it's also possible.

Did you find this proposed trip interesting? Then please contact me so we can start planning your next adventure! Another place where I love taking my clients ski touring is around the Silvretta Massif, check it out!
