Calling all backpackers to the Grand Canyon! Come join me on this 3-day backpacking adventure in the United States‘ most famous national park!
The Grand Canyon is an American treasure, and is located in the state of Arizona, which is in the southwest part of the country. Famous for both its natural beauty and anthropological preservation, it is a wonder to see and experience.
On this classic backpacking route of the Grand Canyon, you will get to experience the highlights that the national park offers, over the course of 3 memorable days.
We’ll meet at the Grand Canyon Village Visitor Center, check our gear, set up camp, and dive into skills: packing efficiently, reading maps and compasses, and prepping for desert hiking. We’ll end the day with a well-earned camp dinner.
Hike deeper into the canyon, practicing navigation and trail skills while learning about desert plants, wildlife, and how to make a solid camp. The views and silence here are unforgettable—perfect for slowing down and tuning in.
Then we'll hike back to the South Rim via the Bright Angel Trail, aiming to finish in time for sunset. Your guide can point you to the best local eats before you hit the road.
