Description

The Grand Combin massif rises high in the Pennine Alps of Switzerland. A gorgeous and enormous collection of peaks, the Combins are a fantastic, but challenging, area to trek through. And for 6 days, I would like to guide you on an adventure around this amazing massif.

Beginning in Bourg St. Pierre, we will trek from 4 to 8 hours each day during this trip. The terrain will be wild and difficult. As a result, participants should have prior experience trekking in mountainous areas. It is also important that you are in good physical condition as well.

Each day of this trip will take you to another stunning location in the Grand Combin massif. Those locations include Col de Mille, Panossiere, Chanrion, Champillon, and St. Rhemy. Each one of these locations will provide you with unique and amazing views. You will get to see the massif’s collection of peaks, a selection of wonderful valleys and even the Corbassiere glacier.

Every night, you will get to stay in a different mountain cabin. From the Cabane Brunet and the Cabane du Col de Mille to the Cabane de Chanrion, each one of these cabins is at an altitude exceeding 2000 meters. The highest cabin, the Cabane Champillon rests at an at altitude of 2,465 meters. As a result of their locations, even when you’ve finished trekking for the day, you will get to enjoy amazing evening views of the Grand Combin massif, as well as the stars when night finally takes over.

Trekking through a massif like Grand Combin is a thrilling and enthralling experience. And while it is a challenging adventure, it is a rewarding one. And if you want to be a part of it, just send me a request.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
