Itinerary

Day 1: Approach and Bivouac

  • Distance: 3-4 km
  • Elevation Gain: 720 meters
  • Time: 3-4 hours
  • Begin your ascent towards Ibón Medio de Coronas, where you'll set up camp. This day is about acclimatization and enjoying the stunning mountain scenery. The evening offers a unique bivouac experience, surrounded by the grandeur of the Pyrenees.

Day 2: Summit and Descent

  • Distance: 9 km
  • Elevation Gain: 665 meters (summit day)
  • Elevation Loss: 1,480 meters (descent)
  • Time: 5-6 hours
  • Summit Aneto early in the morning, tackling Mahoma’s Pass roped up for added safety. Enjoy panoramic views from the top before descending back to the starting point, completing the two-day journey.
