Description

Let a certified mountain guide lead you into the heart of the Swiss Alps, where Andermatt offers some of the finest freeride terrain in the world!

In just minutes, the Gemstockbahn lifts you to nearly 3,000 meters, opening access to legendary powder runs with up to 1,500 meters of descent—no hiking required. And the beauty of Andermatt is that even after days of sunshine, a short hike can reveal untouched slopes in a dramatic landscape of snow and rock.

Andermatt is a freerider’s dream. With its vast terrain, you can still find untracked slopes even weeks after the last snowfall. Thanks to its altitude and prime location in the heart of the Alps, the area is renowned for massive snowfalls that keep conditions fresh. With Andermatt Powder+, you’ll carve legendary runs on Gemsstock—like Giraff, Felsental, Guspis, and many more.

We’ll also venture to Disentis, home to Staldenfirn: a truly unique descent with 2,300 vertical meters of steep, technical terrain.

To join, you should be confident skiing off-piste and have the fitness to handle up to 2.5 hours of hiking, both with and without skins.

If you’re ready for a stellar freeride adventure, get in touch today and secure your place with your certified expert guide!

    Mountain Guide

I have a Masters in Geology and I am an IFMGA Mountain Guide. Skiing and climbing are my greatest passions. Also, travelling has become a great fascination of mine. What I love most about it is how it always opens up new horizons and possibilities. I love going to different parts of the world, meet new friends, my ski equipment and climbing shoes always ready to go.

Even if I have been climbing and skiing for more than 20 years, I have several pending projects in mind. At the top of my list are: climbing the Cordillera Real in Bolivia, going to the Parinacota volcano in Chile for some amazing ski mountaineering, and going again on a ski road trip through the Andes.

Skiing and climbing challenges never end! Have a look at my different tours. I hope to have you as a guest in one of them soon.

What people are saying about Stefan

    Levi

Stefan was great! He was knowledgeable, friendly, competent and let me lead a bunch of pitches! After the multi-pitch climb he stopped at a small sport crag on the way home to do more routes with me. Going the extra mile! I'd highly recommend.
