Guided ski traverse on Mount Etna

Please join me for a guided 4 to 6-day ski touring traverse in Sicily, on Mount Etna, the tallest (3343m) active volcano in Europe.

I particularly enjoy guiding my friends and clients there because…

• it offers breathtaking views on the sea;

• the Province of Catania (Nicolosi and Linguaglossa) is a region where people are very welcoming and friendly, and the local Sicilian food awesome;

• it suitable for different levels of skiers, more or less beginners to more experienced;

• reaching craters with your skis is a very unique experience.

The exact itinerary will be decided a little bit before arriving in order to go to the spots where weather and snow conditions are the best.  I will be there with my van so we will maximize our flexibilty and make sure we have the best ski of the area.

It is not a very technical ski touring traverse and the daily positive altitude change varies from 700 to 1100 meters.

We will be staying in a bed and breakfast. I can guide you there between 4 to 6 days. The number of participants should not exceed 7 persons for one guide. If you are a larger group, I will ask one of my friends, IFMGA mountain guide as well to join us.
