Highlights

  • Combine sports, culture and leisure in the city’s green oasis.

  • Explore the natural open space in a thrilling way.

  • Benefit from a guide accompanying you along the route.

The Ibirapuera Park lies in the urban area of São Paulo that offers 158 hectares of green space surrounded by the urban jungle.

With over 14 million visits per year, it is the most popular park in the whole of South America.

The green open space was opened in 1954 and is now fully protected as a national landmark.

One of the best ways to experience and explore the park is by biking its great tracks.

We’ll cover more than 10 miles (16km) as we pedal through the park and discover the lesser-known treasures as well as popular landmarks, including the Monument to the Bandeiras, a large granite sculpture at its entrance.

Avenida Paulista is our beginning point before we head downhill, zooming past posh stores and high-end restaurants. Then we’ll pass mansions that flank the path before entering the park.

Once inside the great green space, we’ll explore a collection of spots including the tranquil lake, historical buildings designed by Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.

Then underexplored areas will be discovered, the trails and groves that are off the beaten path.

In total our biking tour will last approximately 3 hours. So if you’re coming to São Paulo, then fitting the bike tour into your busy schedule is incredibly easy. Choose between 3 times during the day: the morning, afternoon and evening.

Get in touch now to reserve your place on a half-day biking tour of Ibirapuera Park, one of the largest and most popular urban parks in South America.
