Description

Get ready to enjoy the stunning beauty of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico on this incredible adventure. Located in the Pacific State of Jalisco, this charming city offers much more than outstanding beaches and unforgettable sunsets. Follow us on a wonderful hiking and mountain bike adventure in this beautiful location.

We’ll begin with a 5-kilometer bike ride following the dazzling Cuale River. We’ll pass the towns of Paso Ancho, Paso del Guayabo, and Los Almacenes. From there, we continue our trip hiking along the river and crossing it a couple of times to reach the start of "La Herradura". The hike up offers breathtaking views of the Bay of Banderas along the Sierra Madre. Then, we’ll continue to El Salto, one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls in the region, where we’ll be able to jump, swim and enjoy the river. We’ll go back following the same route, unless you wish to explore more things.

This adventure is for intermediate hikers and beginner cyclers in good physical shape. The whole trip lasts approximately 6 hours and we’ll be covering 20 kilometers (10 biking and 10 hiking) on the round-trip.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
