Work on your skills and climb high mountain peaks on this introductory mountaineering weekend course in the amazing Aigüestortes National Park!
In the heart of the Pyrenees and with nearly 200 lakes, the Aigüestortes National Park offers a unique landscape. You can practice a wide range of outdoor activities in this wild mountain region the whole year round, but mountaineering is one of the best ways to discover the wonders of this beautiful Spanish location.
On this program, we’ll spend two days in this spectacular National Park. We will learn the essentials of alpine mountaineering including proper use of equipment and how to put into practice some orientation techniques. Our starting point will be at the Sallente Reservoir, located in the Fosca Valley. Then, we will cross the upper part of this beautiful valley and spend the night at the Colomina Hut. We will walk between 6-7 hours each day.
I will be happy to teach you the skills you need to climb this peak. Of course, I will be there through and through to make sure you are safe and also enjoy the trip to the fullest!
