Climbing Kilimanjaro is the ultimate bucket-list activity. Go with one of our experienced guides on a 7-day trek along the Rongai route and cross it off your list!
On the Rongai route, we’ll approach the mountain from the northside. This is an awesome route as it doesn’t get as busy as other trails. It also gets less rain during the rainy season. On our way to the top, we’ll pass through the stunning wilderness and enjoy some fantastic nature.
This trip takes a minimum of seven days. It’s important that we take this time. It’s a long way to the top and you’ll need to properly acclimatize.
In the evenings we’ll camp at the various sites available to us, there you’ll be able to rest and recover and get to know the rest of the group.
Other than reaching the summit, an awesome highlight of this trip is the flora and fauna you get to see as you ascend. You’ll walk through beautiful pine forests and moorland. You may also get to see Colobus monkeys or other amazing wildlife like elephants or buffalos as you trek.
The sights are unbeatable too. From stunning views of the Kenyan plains to the Eastern Icefields and Kibo Volcano, there is beauty around every turn.
The climb to the summit is not easy. But, this route is great for those with less hiking experience. A good level of fitness is essential and you’ll have to train to take this challenge on.
Climbing Kilimanjaro really is the experience of a lifetime. Get in touch today and be one step closer to living that experience.
