Description

Our goal is help you enjoy some of the best descents in the the best powder in La Thuile.

La Thuile is a magnificent area within the incredible Aosta Valley. The area is situated in the perfect position, not only for great skiing, but also for astounding views of the Alps' great peaks. From Mont Blanc (4,810m) to Monte Rosa (4,634m), you will be in awe of the great peaks of Northern Italy.

On this trip, you will be given the chance to enjoy 2 separate flights. Thus giving you the chance to enjoy 2 completely different locations from which you can ski. As a result of these flights you will get to ski approximately 4000 vertical metres.

The potential destinations include amazing places like Miravidi, Mont Ouille, Pointe Lechaud, Testa del Ruitor, and Mont Freduaz. Regardless of whichever spots are chosen, rest assured that you will have a great time.

One of our guides will see to it that before you board the agile helicopter, which will be capable of taking you deep within the La Thuile area, the best spots have already been decided upon. The choice of where to go will be based on weather and snow conditions, avalanche risk, and years of our experience in the area.

The only requirements we have from participants it that they are physical fit, and have some prior off-piste skiing experience.

So if you want to enjoy the thrill of heliskiing. And you want to enjoy it in a place as stunning as La Thuile, while surrounded by the great Alps of Italy, then this is the trip for you. The price above is for the following destinations, Miravidi, Mont Ouille and Pointe Lechaud, and includes the usage of an ABS backpack, avalanche transceiver, probe and shovel, special renting prices on skiing and/or snowboard equipment, and 2 helicopter flights, as well as one transfer flight from Alpe les Barmettes to Col Piccolo San Bernado.

For the same price, we offer 2 flights in the following locations: 1 flight to Testa del Ruitor and 1 flight to Mont Freduaz, as well as a transfer flight from Cascate Lac Glacier to Col Piccolo San Bernado.

Additional flights for both options in Euros per person/per flight range from 137.50 to 225 depending on the landing place and group size.

Just have to say what an excellent week I had in Val Formazza last week with Heli Guides. Our guide Alberto was great and was able to find us great lines to ski as well as being great company and possessing a great nose for a fine bottle of wine. The hotel we stayed in - the Walser Schtuba - was great with comfortable rooms and top notch meals and wine. You could not ask for more after a great days skiing than to come back and relax in this great hotel. I was most impressed with all aspects of Heli Guides / Guide Monterosa and there willingness to make your holiday truly memorable.

We had a awesome time in Courmayeur! Conditions were perfect: fresh powder and a shiny sun. The guide was a really nice guy, very experienced mountain guide and fun! Would definitely recommend this trip to anyone!
