Description

If you join me on this absolutely awesome 19-day adventure on the Langtang Helambu Trek, from Kathmandu in Nepal, I guarantee you will experience some of the most breathtaking and jaw-dropping sights imaginable, with the vast mountains, lakes, glaciers, forests and waterfalls never ceasing to amaze, with the added bonus of learning about the unique local cultures we encounter.

The Langtang Helambu Trek is one of the most popular trekking paths in the Nepalese Himalayas, owing to its astonishing variety of landscape, scenery and terrain, as well as the wide array of native and exotic flora and fauna that dot the region.

Our trip begins when we all meet in Kathmandu on day 1, where all relevant safety and general information will be dispensed.

Over the course of the subsequent 16 days, we will be trekking long distances every day, with day 11 involving crossing the Laurebinayak Pass, which at 4610m above sea level is the highest point we reach on the trip.

Every where we look the scenery is absolutely majestic, grand and exquisite, with the plentiful snow-capped peaks looming large over lakes such as Gosaikunda Lake, and the acres upon acres of lush green forest making for an outstanding setting.

There will be ample time to stop and learn about the local cultures, with the famous Sherpa culture and the rural villages of the Tamang culture proving particularly fascinating.

After 16 days of trekking, we finish with a couple of relaxing days back in Kathmandu, hopefully having made you fall even more in love with the unique and gorgeous countryside of Nepal.

This trip is guaranteed to be one of the most memorable times of your life – book now to experience!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
