Description

Mustang, Nepal’s second least populated district, sits in a remote but stunningly beautiful corner of the Annapurna Conservation Area.

For those who do not have a whole lot of time to explore this area, then the 13-day Upper Mustang short trek is the perfect way in which to do so.

The adventure begins after we meet in Kathmandu and transfer to Pokhara by bus. From here, we fly into Jomsom and the real fun begins.

Over the course of the next 10 days, we will hike through a variety oof diverse landscapes, from narrow and verdant gorges to arid, almost moon-like mountain passes. (For a more detailed itinerary, see below.)

Along the way, we will get the chance to see into the world’s deepest gorge as well as get great views out over 15 different snowcapped Himalayan peaks, including the iconic Annapurna.

In addition to the incredible natural scenery we will be privy to, we will also have the chance to meet some of the local people and experience a bit of their culture.

Whether this comes in the form of exploring ancient monasteries or trying local delicacies, you’re sure to leave with a new appreciation for the way of life in this remote part of the world.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this unforgettable 13-day Upper Mustang short trek in northern Nepal!

If you like the look of this trip, but want to spend a bit more time exploring this incredible part of Nepal, then we think you may also enjoy our 18-day variation of the Upper Mustang Trek!

We had an amazing Mardi Himal trek. We booked last minute and we were dealt with promptly and professionally. The trek was fully customisable including a stay in a lovely hotel and bus rides to and from Kathmandu. Our guide Amir was awesome and made our trek everything we wanted. Thank you so much!
