The Mt. Everest Base Camp trek is a classic in the Himalayas. This stunning spot at the base of the highest mountain in the world is located at an altitude of 5364 m (17,598 ft) and is a common stop for mountaineers climbing the southeast ridge of the mountain. Of course, climbing to the summit of Everest is not for everyone, however, that does not mean you cannot enjoy this Himalaya wonder if you are not an advanced mountaineer.
On this trek, we will start of from Kathmandu and fly to Lukla, from where we will begin hiking to Phakding. Over the course of the following days, we will stop at emblematic spots in the Everest region such as Namche Bazaar, and the Khumbu Glacier. We will also discover the stunning Sherpa culture, and catch sight of amazing peaks including Mt. Lhotse (8,516 m), Mt. Makalu (8,463 m), Mt. Cho Oyu (8,201 m), and many others. After reaching the EBC, we will climb to Kala Patthar (5,550m), to enjoy stunning views of the emblematic mountain.
Please keep in mind that this program is open to trekkers of all levels. However, it is a demanding trek that will require adequate physical preparation. Of course, we will be there to help and guide you every step of the way.
