Description

Sitting on the outskirts of the Annapurna conservation area, Poon Hill is the ideal destination for trekkers who do not have a lot of time to explore Nepal’s majestic scenery!

Over the course of our 10 days together, we will split our time between exploring the cities of Pokhara and Kathmandu and trekking through the sublime Nepalese wilderness until we arrive at the summit of Poon Hill.

While we are in the cities, we will start each day with some early morning yoga before heading out and seeing some of the sights. We will end each of these days with a meditation class.

However, the highlight of the trip will be striking out into the wilderness in order to climb Poon Hill. The trek to and from the hill is easily as enchanting and scenic as actually summiting the peak is.

As we go, we will climb up 3200 carved stone steps, hike through thick rhododendron forests and past traditional villages. Each day, we will enjoy plenty of stunning views of some of the most iconic peaks in the Annapurna range.

The climax of the trip comes when we climb to the top of Poon Hill. Getting an early morning start, we will arrive at the summit in time for sunrise and watch an incredible one come up over Annapurna. It’s truly an unforgettable sight.

From here, we slowly return to Pokhara, where we will spend one last day exploring the city before returning to Katmandu and eventually transferring you back to the airport to fly home.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this stunningly scenic and enchanting 10-day trek and yoga expedition to the summit of Poon Hill!

If you like the look of this trip then we think you may also enjoy our slightly longer, 15-day Annourna base camp trek and yoga expedition!
