Description

Discover a beautiful wild area full of snow-covered peaks and glaciers while you improve your skills on the best off-piste routes in Les Écrins National Park in the Haute Alps department.

The Massif des Écrins is mountain group located in the heart of the Écrins National Park in southeastern France. This is one of the ten French national parks and its highest peak reaches the 4,102 meters.

As for the itinerary, on the first day we will introduce ourselves and organize the week. We’ll have a conversation about group rules and security and you will enjoy your first slopes of the week. During the rest of the days, we’ll pick a ski station according to the weather conditions and the group level.

The base camp of our ski safari will be Vallouise, a French community located in the Provence Alpes Côte d’Azur region. During this tour, you will have the chance to visit the ski stations of Pelvoux, Puy St. Vincent, Serre Chevalier, Risoul, Molines, Abriès, Montgenèvre and La Grave.

On this tour, the transport will be in personal cars and the accommodation will be at the l’Argentière Les Écrins. Take into account that a high level of fitness and experience is mandatory for this tour.

Finally, you will need to bring:

a mountain jacket and a ski pant, warm clothing
ski equipment
sunglasses, sunscreen, thermos
gloves, mittens, hat, scarf
personal micro pharmacy
backpack
seal skins
shovel and probe
camera

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
