Description

If you always wanted to venture into the remoteness of the Himalayas, join us on this incredible Limi Valley Trek in Nepal. The 20-day tour will take you to the far-removed region of Humla, into a stunning landscape of soaring mountains and lush forests.

Humla lies in the north of Nepal and is popularly known as the “Hidden Himalaya”, given its remoteness. Located at an elevation of 2945 meters, it serves as a gateway to Mount Kailash and Lake Manosarober trek.

The Limi Valley Trek will explore this faraway region of Nepal. It will lead you into scenic villages that are still untouched by the modern way of living. You’ll have a close brush with the lifestyle and culture of rural Nepali people and also get to see the ancient Buddhist culture.

The highlight of the trek is crossing the two famous passes of Nyalu La and Nara La. Also, it will be enriching to explore the unique flora and fauna of the region and if you are lucky, you might as well spot a snow leopard or a blue sheep on the way. You’ll also be rewarded by epic views of the high peaks of Mount Kailash and Saipal as you’ll begin to scale.

Along with visiting many monasteries and temples on the way, you’ll also get to see the salt trading route which was used by the traders from Tibet and Nepal in ancient times.

We’ll begin and end the journey in Kathmandu. After a day of sightseeing in the Kathmandu valley, we’ll fly to Nepalgunj to start the trek. The following days will take us through many remote places including Dharapuri, Manepeme, Halji and Shinjungma. We’ll be camping at many spectacular locations under the clear night sky and experience the complete awe of the Humla region.

Regarding difficulty, this is a medium grade trek ideal for newbies well as seasoned hikers. All you’ll need is a fit body and a high spirit and you’ll be just fine!

If this unique trek through the Limi Valley interests you, don’t hesitate to send us a message to book your seat. You’ll take back unforgettable memories with you! Also, check out Kanchenjunga Trek if looking for more adventures in Nepal.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
