Description

Join this guided mountain biking program, in one of the most beautiful parts of Switzerland. Discover the wonderful sceneries in this biking paradise in Valais, departing from Verbier to Champery.

We could begin our adventure at the famous resort of Verbier. Thereon, we can bike towards the Val d’Illiez, an eight stage journey that will take us to the high mountain lake of Champex. Also, we’ll cross the quiet road that cross the Rhone Valley, biking along the banks of the Rhone River.

I propose the following itinerary: Once we depart from Verbier, we’ll head to the Val de Bagnes, a dazzling valley perfect for our warm up. Then, our first ascent awaits, between the entrance of Val Ferret, Lake Champez and Orsieres. Upon completion, we’ll descend back to the valley. Later, we’ll take a detour through an old road heading to Col de la Forclaz. From this point, we’ll enjoy the best views of the Martigny and Rhone Valley. Finally, we’ll climb up again to Val d’Illiez. This road will take us to Les Giettes and towards Champery. We’ll use a splendid high-mountain road, that is perched at the base of the Dents du Midi’s cliffs.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
