On this full-day guided adventure, you’ll climb one of the Chief’s classic multi-pitch routes alongside a professionally certified ACMG guide from Mountain Skills Academy & Adventures. Known for its high-friction granite, sustained climbing, and unforgettable scenery, the Chief offers an ideal introduction to long rock routes, as well as a rewarding challenge for experienced climbers.

Itinerary

Day 1: Conquer the Chief

Meet your guide in Squamish in the morning for a gear check, route briefing, and conditions assessment. After approaching the base of the wall, begin your ascent of one of the Chief’s classic multi-pitch routes.

Throughout the day, your guide will manage rope systems, route leadership, and safety while coaching movement and technique as needed. Expect sustained granite climbing, incredible exposure, and changing perspectives over Howe Sound.

After reaching the summit or completing the chosen objective, descend via trail and return to town in the afternoon.
