Would you like to celebrate New Year on an unforgettable alpine adventure? Then come to this snowshoeing trip in Monte Rosa, and welcome 2019 in a charming mountain hut!

Monte Rosa, a huge ice-covered massif, is the second highest peak in the Alps. Located between Italy and Switzerland, it is a premium destination for outdoor lovers. At the foot of the mountain, in Alagna Valsessia, we will find a beautiful alpine hut with warm and friendly staff, and excellent cuisine.

What I’m offering is a stunning snowshoeing experience around this unique alpine area, and an awesome extra: to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the hut! We will have dinner and spend the night surrounded by a breathtaking landscape.

We will start on Dec. 31 with a short hike to reach the alpine hut, and then a thrilling trek to see the glaciers. In the afternoon we will return to the hut and then enjoy the Gala Dinner as we welcome the new year! In addition, the next day those that want to can also join a snowshoeing adventure ! Keep in mind that our snowshoeing routes are really easy, so we don’t require special skills, from kids to grandparents, everyone with a sufficient fitness level is welcome!

Day 1: 31 Dec

Morning: Hike to the Hut in Alagna Valsesia.

Afternoon: Trek along the glaciers. Packed lunch on the way.

Back to the hut: Gala Dinner – New Year Party.

Day 2: Jan. 1

Those who wish may take a short and optional hike with packed lunch.

In the afternoon we will go down to Alagna village.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
