Description

Arlberg, or St. Anton am Arlberg, is one of the best places for off piste skiing and ski touring. So if you love this activity, just like me, join me for an incredible day at the mountain.

This 1-day activity is perfect to enjoy the powder and explore hidden tree runs around Austria’s top off piste resort. In order to reach the best spots, it is possible that we might also need to go on some short hikes.

I will meet you at St. Anton am Arlberg. Also, if you are staying in other places around the area, I can pick you up at Stuben, Zurs or Lech.

Finally, groups are private and up to 5 guests. Also, all rental safety equipement is included in the price. Mainly, this will be rucksack, shovel, probe and transceiver. Remember that my main goal as a professional guide is the safety of all my guests.

I was born in 1969. Ever since a teenager, everything for me was about skiing, climbing and mountaineering. Years later, I thought it was time to take my passion to the next level. After receiving a technical education in engineering, I became an IFGMA Mountain and Skiguide. I completed this certification in 2000.

Working and living in St. Anton am Arlberg, in the very heart of Austria, is a privilege to me. In particular, because here is where my favorite off piste skiing resort in the Alps is. Also, traveling to other countries and corners of the world helped me enhance my experience as a guide. Over the years, I have climbed and skied in amazing places like the Alps, Norway, Turkey, Greece, Iceland, Argentina and Chile. During the summer, between June and September, you will find me at my favorite spot: beautiful Chamonix, in the French Alps.

My guiding experience and expertise include classic mountaineering, rockclimbing, ice climbing, off piste skiing and skitouring. Contact me for more information on any of my trips. Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
