Oscuros del Balced canyoning day, Sierra de Guara

The Oscuros del Balced is a hidden gem of Sierra de Guara. Today I’d like to invite you to live a canyoning day through this narrow gorge. The Oscuros del Balced Canyon is unjustifiably less known than its more classic neighbors, such as the Peonera, the Vero River or the Formiga. That is because it requires a longer walk to get to the canyon.

Nevertheless, the Balced is a ravine of great geological wealth and beauty that you can not miss if you come to this area of ​​Spain. In addition, the trail offers extraordinary views over the Balced valley, a paradise for birds of prey thanks to its large rock walls.

The descent through the canyon is not excessively long but, due to the previous hike we will have a very complete sporting day. So it’s important to have a good physical condition.
