Join me on this amazing photography and hiking weekend in Val de Bagnes, in the Swiss Alps.
I’m a mountain guide and professional photographer and we’ll be happy to take you to all my favorite spots. You”ll go back home with the most incredible images!
Photograph the sunset behind Mont Blanc as a full moon appears on the Matterhorn. Or capture the afternoon light on one of the most picturesque cabins in the Swiss Alps.
I’ll give you all the best tips for you to learn to take amazing photographs in a mountain environment. Speed, diaphragm and also depth of field…I’ll go over all of this with you!
And all this while hiking in the most beautiful valleys in the Swiss Alps. We’ll spend the night in the Igloo des Pantalons Blancs and then spend the next day walking back down.
These two hiking days are technically easy and open to beginner hikers and mountaineers with an interest in photography. You do need, however, a reasonable fitness level to be able to walk for around 5 hours a day.
Sounds like a fun weekend? It is! So put together a group and join me on this photography and hiking weekend in beautiful Val de Bagnes.

I was born on a freezing day in January, 1956, and that day’s sub-zero temperatures would serve as on omen for my professional life, dedicated to the mountains.
In college, I majored in Engineering and Natural Sciences (glaciology and geophysics), with the goal of understanding the mysterious forces that have sculpted the Earth’s mountains. After graduation, my passion for photography and writing led me to become a reporter specialized on issues related to the mountains.
A father of two, I have relentlessly roamed the vast horizons…of my native Valais, in Switzerland, from the plains to the high summits — always with my camera in hand and my notepad in my pocket. I currently alternate between my work as a journalist and my job as a mountain guide, which provides a delicate balance between body and mind that is essential to my well-being.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
