Highlights

  • Reach the second highest point of the Pyrenees

  • Enjoy an unforgettable mountaineering experience in Spain

  • Discover the wonderful landscape of the Benasque Valley

Pico Posets (3,371m) is the second highest mountain in the Pyrenees and a perfect destination for mountaineering lovers. This 2-day trip is your opportunity to reach its summit under expert guidance. Join me and let’s have an unforgettable alpine adventure!

Also called Punta de Llardana, Posets is located in the Spanish province of Huesca. It is part of the the Benasque Valley, a beautiful area of the Pyrenees which also encompasses Mount Aneto (3,404m).

On the first day of this tour we will head up to the refuge where we will spend the night. Then, on the second day we will choose from several routes to the top of Posets, depending on your mountaineering skills and your wishes.

On our way up we will cross amazing spots, such as:

– Valley of Llardaneta  and Fonda Canal

– Collado de la Paul and Posets Glacier

– Espadas Ridge

– Couloir Jean Arlaud

From the summit of Posets we will be able to enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the Spanish and the French Pyrenees!

For this 2-day mountaineering tour you must have previous climbing experience (at least of low difficulty) and a good fitness level. It involves streams crossing, snowy sections and rocky slopes.

So, if you want to explore Pico Posets with an expert local guide, please contact me. I’ll be glad to guide you to the top of this amazing mountain!

I also offer a mountaineering trip to Mount Aneto, the highest peak in the Pyrenees: check it out!
