Description

Mount Aneto (3,404m) is the highest peak in the Pyrenees and a world-class mountaineering destination. This trip is your chance to reach its summit under expert guidance. Join me!

Located in the Spanish province of Huesca, within the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park, Mount Aneto is an amazing tower of granite and ice. Its northern side holds the largest glacier in the Pyrenees!

On the first day of this trip we will head up to the refuge where we will spend the night. Then, on the second day we will choose among several routes to the top of Aneto, depending on your mountaineering skills and wishes.

On our way up we can cross amazing spots, such as:

– Passage of the Upper Portillón and the Aneto Glacier.

– Corredor Estasen.

– Crest of Llosás.

– Cresta Salenques-Tempestades.

From the summit of Aneto we will enjoy stunning views of beautiful ridges, huge glaciers and renowned peaks like Maladeta, Coronas and Tempestades.

This 2-day mountaineering tour involves traversing through steep grassy flanks, sharp ridges, boulder fields, granite slabs and steep ice. Therefore, you must have previous climbing experience (at least of low difficulty) and a good fitness level.  Of course, I will be there to help every step of the way.

So, if you you want to reach the highest point of the Pyrenees, please contact me. Let me guide you to the summit of the impressive Mount Aneto!

We can also go to the top of other popular Spanish peaks. Check out my Peña Vieja and my Torre Cerredo tours!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
