Description

Torre Cerredo (2650 m) is the highest peak in Asturias and also in the Cantabrian Mountains.

There are two different but awesome mountain trails to ascent this peak:

The normal route

During the last meters of climbing in this route, we will need to use ropes.

The crenelations by Pico de Cabrones

We will join two famous peaks, the Peak of Cabrones (2553 m) with Torre Cerredo Peak (2650 m), climbing a ridge of 800 meters between them.

The viewpoints we can admire while climbing up to the western massif are really breathtaking.

Other highlights of this trip are the amazing surroundings, the local cuisine and all the other mountain activities you can enjoy nearby.

Are you interested in climbing Torre Cerredo? Please contact me so we can start organizing this trip.

You can also join me for other trips in Spain, like climbing Naranjo de Bulnes (also in the Cantabrian Mountains) or a 1-day climbing trip to El Yelmo, in Madrid.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
